  • Prepare and file GST/HST returns and support payroll remittances
  • Build clean year-end working papers and draft financial statements for review

Personal tax

  • Prepare T1 returns, including employment, investment, rental and self-employment income
  • Collect and organize client documents and follow up on anything missing
  • Prepare T4, T4A and T5 slips
  • Help respond to CRA notices and requests for review

Client and team

  • Answer routine client questions clearly and on time
  • Follow our review checklists and keep every file fully documented
  • Flag issues early and bring a suggested solution

What you bring

  • Diploma or degree in accounting, or equivalent work experience
  • 1 to 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, ideally in an accounting practice
  • Experience preparing Canadian personal tax returns (T1)
  • Working knowledge of GST/HST and CRA requirements
  • Experience with Xero or QuickBooks Online, and strong Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and clear written communication
  • The discipline to manage your own deadlines while working remotely

Great to have

  • Experience preparing corporate tax returns (T2) and related schedules
  • Experience preparing year-end financial statements for corporations
  • Enrolment in the CPA program or a plan to pursue it
  • Experience with professional tax preparation software

Why join us

  • Fully remote work from anywhere in Canada
  • Exposure to a wide range of clients and industries
  • Direct feedback from experienced reviewers on your work
  • Room to take on corporate tax and more responsibility as the practice grows

What you need to work remotely

  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada
  • Reliable high-speed internet
  • A private workspace where client information stays confidential
